There are all sorts of holders for paper towels. And at some point, everyone probably had to deal with kitchen roll holders that were ill-designed or complicated to use. Here, Stéphane shows us his DIY solution with magnets that couldn’t be any simpler.
For his kitchen roll holder, Stéphane bent a metal rod into the appropriate shape and placed each end on a magnetic hook FTN-20. The upright parts must not be too long to ensure the roll easily slides onto the metal rod.
Now you can replace the empty kitchen roll with a new one without having to fiddle.
The prerequisite for this homemade magnetic kitchen roll holder is a metal surface (fridge door, metal cabinet, etc.). Alternatively, suitable metal discs (link below) can be screwed to a surface and act as counterparts for the magnetic hooks.
To protect the metal surface from scratches, you can cover the magnetic hooks with rubber caps.
