Self-adhesive neodymium magnets

In order to realise your creative ideas, you need a super magnet that you can use in a flexible way? We recommend our self-adhesive disc and block magnets. They have a strong adhesive on their backsides that allows you to glue them onto various surfaces, especially cardboard and paper. You can select from self-adhesive magnets with adhesive foil as well as extremely durable FOAM adhesive foam, both from 3M. You can buy FOAM magnets when you need to glue on extra-strong magnets.
Advantages:

  • extremely flat and still super-strong (adhesive force between 230 g and 2,9 kg)
  • strong self-adhesive
  • arranged in pairs on a strip (1x north & 1x south pole with adhesive surface)
  • different shapes: round or square

Alternatives to these adhesive magnets are our very thin magnetic squares and circles. They are made of ferrite and can be glued on but have a significantly lower adhesive force than neodymium magnets. Therefore, they are not suitable for closures but they can hold up cards, photos, etc. on the fridge or whiteboard.

Strong adhesive neodymium magnets

Besides the superalloy of neodymium, our self-adhesive magnets distinguish themselves with a low height. They are extremely flat with a height of 0,6 bis 2 mm. Despite their small sizes of 6 to 25 mm diameter (disc magnets) or 10 to 40 mm length (block magnets), the larger ones can hold objects of up to 3 kg. Utilise our filter and you can quickly find the right adhesive magnets for your project with the needed adhesive force.
You can order adhesive magnets in our online shop in units of 10, 20 or 40, depending on the product. We can offer you block pricing for larger quantities to reduce the per-unit price. The self-adhesive magnets come on a paper strip with a counterpart. This has the following advantages: 1) It is easier to separate the magnets. 2) You receive a magnet pair with a self-adhesive north and south pole. You can use this pair to close a hand-made card, for instance, or create a magnetic holder for a name tag.

Strong glue-on magnetic discs

Besides their strong adhesive force, their hold on the magnetic surface is important with these products. Therefore, the glue-on neodymium magnets come with a high-quality adhesive 3M surface on one side, which ensures a strong and durable hold on different surfaces, such as paper, cardboard, acrylic glass, and wood. We offer the self-adhesive magnets in two different versions:
  • STIC: Products with normal 3M adhesive (Type 467MP)
  • FOAM: Magnets with extra-strong adhesive 3M foam (Type 4920)

The magnets are easy to use: Just pull the flap to remove the protective foil. Then you can place the adhesive magnet with the adhesive side down on the desired surface.

Besides adhesive magnets, our small magnetic discs also work well for arts and crafts. They are not made of NdFeB but ferrite, hence they are not as strong, but they are very versatile and easy to use, for instance for creative paper designs for invitations, greeting or thank you cards, or to hang up postcards and such on the fridge or magnetic board.

Tips for the ideal hold

  • Since the surface quality highly influences the adhesive's performance, make sure you have a suitable (smooth, clean, and grease-free) surface.
  • After removing the protective foil, don't touch the self-adhesive bottom side as this may affect the adhesive.
  • Press the self-adhesive disc and block magnets on well and let them rest for some time, which allows the adhesive to bond long-term with the surface.
  • Self-adhesive magnets are suitable for indoor use only. High moisture can negatively affect the adhesive, therefore you can expect a shorter life from the adhesive in the bathroom, kitchen or cellar.
