The perfect closure for your DIY purses

Do you like to sew fabric or leather purses? A magnetic closure is what you need to put them over the top. Like any magnetic closure, it consists of two parts that you press into the fabric at the desired location. Then you only need to fasten them with the reinforcement discs and your magnetic closure is ready to go. This is convenient because you don't need to sew anything in.

Decorative magnetic clasps for your jewellery

Pearl, gold and silver necklaces, as well as bracelets, often have very small clasps, which requires motor skills to be able to keep the carabiner or snap ring on the one end open and then insert the small loop from the other end. With a magnetic clasp for your necklace or bracelet, there is much less effort needed. Thanks to the two strong neodymium magnets, the two ends attract each other on their own and ensure a secure hold. If you want to open the magnetic clasp, you just need to slide the two parts sideways.

This allows you to purchase the matching magnetic clasp for your silver, stainless steel, and gold jewellery. Remove the original closure before fastening the magnetic clasp with the small loops at the ends of the necklace or bracelet. With a little skill, you can do it yourself, or you can bring it to a goldsmith.

Ideal products for making your own jewellery

If you make your own jewellery, try out magnetic clasps. The spheres are ideal if you make necklaces and bracelets from pearls or stone spheres. They look like jewellery spheres themselves and do not disturb the design as opposed to a carabiner or snap ring closure.
For leather or fabric bracelets (velvet for instance) we recommend a flat magnetic clasp. To fasten it you only need to glue the ends of the fabric or leather bracelet in the two closure parts.

That's how Zubits work:

1. Just lace the magnetic shoe closure with the shoelaces.
2. Turn the two sides of the Zubits towards each other to open.
3. Step into the shoes and put the two parts together again. The strong neodymium magnets ensure a strong hold.
4. The width can be regulated like before. The enclosed loops will help fasten the ends of the shoelaces.
5. Take your shoes off by pressing your heel up, which will open the magnetic shoe closures automatically.
