Description

With these strong magnetic hooks, you can conveniently attach office and kitchen utensils, clothing, etc. to ferromagnetic surfaces. The magnetic hooks reveal their full adhesive force when attached to the underside of thick steel beams and the load pulls vertically downward.

If you would like to attach the hook magnet to a ferromagnetic surface on a wall, please take note of the displacement force indicated above. This specification corresponds to the maximum weight the magnetic hook can support on the wall under optimal conditions.

Please note: Carefully screw the hook into the threaded bushing as far as it will go.

The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the pot magnet makes direct and full flush contact. Pot magnets already lose much of their adhesive force at a distance of only half a millimetre to the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in pot magnets than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets. You can find additional fascinating information on our FAQ page about pot magnet features.

The answer to why you can arrange pot magnets only side by side can be found under our FAQ.
The graph shows the maximum adhesive force in kg (y axis) at various distances in mm (x axis) between magnet and counterpart (steel plate).

Example: At a 1 mm distance between magnet and steel plate the maximum adhesive force is still around 2 kg.
You can unscrew the hook from the pot. If you don't need the hook, you can use the similar and slightly cheaper pot magnets with screw socket.
