Why AlNiCo magnets?

AlNiCo magnets achieve only low adhesive forces even with large sizes, which makes their handling easy. AlNiCo is also less brittle than the strong neodymium or the widely used ferrite – yet another characteristic that is ideal for experiments. Our magnets have marked north and south poles and are anisotropically magnetised. It makes them ideal for the visual demonstration of field lines. Even heat will hardly affect AlNiCo magnets, they are heat-resistant up to 500 °C and therefore much more robust than neodymium and ferrite magnets.
